Spring starts off with a new journey for the 2022 Executive MBA cohort as they will be introduced to the Management Consulting: The Project Driven Mindset module. This module serves to increase the knowledge of the students, respectively add more concepts and skill sets in designing, delivering, and managing consultancy projects. The module is designed for both project management consultants and project implementation consultants and will be delivered in Cluj-Napoca between the 9th -12th of March.

Students are expected to inherit new consulting skills in areas such as client management, problem structuring, project design, data collection, stakeholder engagement, business analysis, problem-solving, business process improvement, project management, client representation, and project writing.

Who is delivering the module?

Dr. Mircea Hotoleanu and Mr. Julian Campbell will be joining us this year as lecturers for the module. Mircea Hotoleanu has over 10 years of teaching experience and lectured at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca as an invited professor on business and project management.  Julian Campbell has rich experience in delivering MBA modules specialised in business development and growth planning.

Mircea Hotoleanu is the CEO of Rofinntech 3D, a company developing software applications based on artificial intelligence. He holds an MSc degree and a Ph.D. from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca. Mr. Hotoleanu has 10 years of teaching experience and 20 years of top management and business consultancy experience in various companies: Liekki, nLight, Emerson, Teraplast, Electrogrup, and Crossover. As an invited professor at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, he was lecturing on business and project management. He wrote more than 40 books and scientific articles. Since November 2022, he is the Honorary Consul of Finland in Cluj-Napoca. In the last 8 years, Mr. Hotoleanu has been invited as a guest speaker for the Executive MBA modules, and in 2021 we worked together in order to design the Management Consulting: The Project Driven Mindset module for the Buckingham University programme, having the role of the module leader.

Julian Campbell is an Associate Professor of Management Consulting at the University of East Anglia (UEA) having run his own consultancy business for a number of years, specialising in business development and growth planning.  

He was the MBA Director at UEA for 10 years, focussing on leading and developing the internationally accredited Executive MBA course and developing that part of the programme bringing MBA students to Prague for projects with companies that include LEGO, Tesco, Philips Healthcare, O2, and IBM. Julian was a visiting Professor in Entrepreneurship at the University of Economics in Prague (2013-2018).

For each module, a guest speaker will join the discussion in order to offer his/her expertise in the field and address the subject of Management Consulting. We are pleased to have Dr. Per Stenius with us in this module. He will deliver an online talk on the 10th of March from 2 pm. If interested to join, please register here.

Per Stenius is the Director of Reddal Korea, as well as the Chairman and CEO of Reddal Inc. since 2010. He has over 25 years of experience in the field of strategy and operative process development in multiple industries.

During his career, he has worked as a top management consultant and executive, holding positions at McKinsey & Company, Accenture, Stratos Ventures, and several technology companies. Per holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara, a Master in Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and an M. Sc. in Engineering from the Helsinki University of Technology.

He has written over 30 articles in leading journals for business and science and serves as an Adjunct Professor at the Seoul School of Integrated Sciences & Technologies.
