The winner of the BT Roberto Marzanati scholarship is Andrei Chifor, and the winners of the two partial scholarships offered by Evergent Investments are Daniela Șuhanea and Dan Șteț.

The scholarship campaign took place between November 26 and December 27, 2021, and brought together over 20 candidates who entered the competition for one of the 3 scholarships offered by Banca Transilvania and Evergent Investments. Our media partner for this year’s campaign was Republica.ro.

This year, the winners of the three scholarships have different business experiences, complementing very well the profile of the next Executive MBA class.

Moreover, besides his day-to-day operations executive job, Andrei is actively involved in various non-governmental organizations, trying to improve the children' lives from Baia-Mare.

Daniela Șuhanea is the CEO of the franc.agency and has extensive experience in various managerial positions.

In 2018, she embarked on the entrepreneurial journey and launched a marketing agency in Targu-Mures. From this role, she managed to bring in her portfolio large companies and created a network of professionals interested in business education. Capitalising on her extensive marketing experience (more than 13 years), Daniela published in 2021 the book "Cu ce se mananca marketingul?", with the aim to provide a useful instrument to the business community, genuine interested people and students willing to learn more about this field.

Dan Șteț is the Packaging Division Sales Manager and Investment Projects Coordinator at MTC Romania, and has more than 15 years of experience in occupying executive positions for both national and international companies.

He sees the working place as an ecosystem where he works closely with colleagues from other departments when implementing his ideas.

The winners will join the eighth group of students who will start their courses on February 9, 2022.

Andrew Taylor, the director of Transilvania Executive Education and member of the scholarship evaluation committee, was surprised by the professional diversity of the candidates, as well as by their innovative ideas. "We received applications from a diverse range of people, with various backgrounds from across Romania. With every year that pass, we discovered new profiles of business people who work hard for their careers, get involved in social causes and contribute to the transformation of the community. We are thankful to all those who applied, unfortunately, we only had 3 scholarships. We would work hard to reward all of your efforts put in sending the application by developing new educational opportunities besides the Executive MBA programme.”

The BT Roberto Marzanati 15000-euro scholarship covers the tuition fees for the entire Executive MBA programme, validated by the Buckingham University, a 100% British MBA programme, taught in Cluj-Napoca by international and Romanian experts, while each of the two partial scholarships offered by Evergent Investment, worth of 7,500 euros each, covers half of the costs of the programme. Those who applied for scholarships have been required to include in their application a business plan, where they indicated the beneficiaries, the sustainability of the business and how it can be scaled, along with a CV and a letter of recommendation.

As every year, there were over 7 applications / per scholarship.
